[/b] he asked giving her a smile back. ”Just French fries and a water please.” She said, once he said what the total would be she took her wallet out of her front pocket and gave him the amount he asked for. Then she sat back and waited. Amy couldn’t wait to get her life started here, she was the only one in her family to move out at 18 and that gave her a bit of pride. But of course it meant getting a new job since she moved and paying rent.
Amy pulled off her bike helmet; she was just sitting there looking in through the glass of the café. She still wasn’t sure if she really wanted to go in or if she was just sitting out-side it looking weird. She let out a sigh. Recently she had just moved out of her parent’s house and off on her own. She wasn’t really sure why she did it, but she had some urge nagging at her telling her she should move out on her own. But know that she was sitting out-side a café on her motorcycle she wasn’t too sure she made the right choice. Amy leaned back pondering what she could do, she still had to look for a place, and at this point she was torn between her stomach being almost empty and the fact she needed somewhere to live. What was more important? She really had no idea. She could always grab a quick meal and head out to find a house, or hotel she could stay at for a while. At this point her cell phone rang, taking it out of her pocket she laughed a little when she read the name that came up. ”Of course you would call right now, mom.” Sighing she answered the phone.
”Hello Mom, how have you been?”
”I’ve been okay dear what about you? Have you found a place to stay yet? Where did you put your horse?”
Amy laughed again, jeez too many questions. ”I’m fine mom and at this point no, I’m debating getting food or looking for a hotel at this point. I dropped Thor off at a stable till I can find somewhere better to put him.” She stomach then growled rather loudly. ”Look mom, how bout I call you after I eat? My stomach is going to die if I don’t put something in it.”
”Oh, okay honey. But you make sure you call us! You don’t want us coming down there to make sure your okay. Love you dear!”
”Love you too mom.” As she hung up the phone she let out a breath. ”Damn right I don’t want you coming down here.”
Shaking her head she got off her bike. Looking around at where she was going to be living she decided food was most important at that point. As she walked into the café everyone in it turned to face her. Flashing a quick smile at them she walked over to a table and sat down. She wasn’t too sure what the food was like here so she decided that she would order French fries if they has any. And maybe water, as a waiter walked over to her she gave him a smile. ’What would you like?’
Once the waiter brought her food over she said thank-you and gave him a three dollar tip. She wasn’t sure if that was low or high, but either way it was all she could afford to give him. Picking up a French fry to try it she noted out greasy they were. ”Oh god, should have figured that.” Looking up from the table she grabbed the ketchup and poured a ton of it on the greasy French fries. Maybe all the fat would do her some good, after all her mother and father were always telling her to gain weight. She felt slightly lonely as she remembered the boyfriend she had left behind. Well ex-boyfriend now, the only thing that stopped her from crying over having to leave him was the fact that she didn’t feel the same about him anymore, and really he didn’t turn out to be the kind of guy she had hoped he was.
