This huge park is ideal for all types of events, including parties, picnics, and is great for one-on-one time.You can also trail ride here with your horse, but be careful, not all of the paths are safe!

Downtown Shetland is where all the hustle and bustle is (which really isn't much ^^ ), and with all that going on it's easy to overlook a small bar such as this, and it's aptly named. The Hole In The Wall is known for it's loud music, good booze, and having a good time!

Here stands the magnificent Shetland hospital with an on site emergancy vet team, so that both people and equine problems can be dealt with.Most of the funding that created this building came from the winnings of the Wiley Ranch just outside of Town, and there is a plaque memorial on the side of the building thanking them for thier generosity.

Here is where horses of no value, poor health, or rebellious nature are sent, but regardless of the reason why they are here, it's up to you to save them.The horses that are left here will remain in the stalls for 5 days, if a human does not come for them after that, they are killed.

Since the humans here start out with nothing, they won't have a ranch of thier own to store thier horse in.Thats where this place comes in! Register your name here and you'll have a place for all your horses!

The Delrose is perhaps the largest and most modern building, aside from the hospital, in the entire town.Since housing is limited in this still developing town, new residents may check in here!

There are both single rooms and rooms with two bedrooms equipped with a bathroom, kitchen, and living room.

All humans must start out here!
Once you reach the 300 post mark you may request a ranch!

The Wiley Ranch belongs to the siblings Samantha & Christopher Wiley.Thier parents were one of the first to invest in the town of Shetland, and were perhaps the most successful.They bred, trained, sold and competed thier horses, and the Towns hospital was built largely on thier winnings.Thier untimely death two years back left the ranch and what was left of the horses to thier children.

This ranch will occasionally have horses for sale, and they offer training for out of control horses.

These are the equines Summer grounds, a vast expanse of grassy plains that act as the filler between The Meadow and The Mountains.When one leaves The Meadows and crosses on to The Grasslands, you can see, looming in the distance like the Gods themselves, The Mountains, the top of which is the equines final destination.Through the months of summer the herds graze, play,fight, and breed in the lush lands that seam to stretch into the horizon.The weather here is hot, and seldom is thier a cool wind to wash over the body.The humidity here causes Thunderstorms, but they are never long, and the horses can always find shelter amongst the random clusters of beech trees that are scattered over the grasslands.

Most of the Fall, for the equines at least, is spent in constant motion.The foals born in the Spring and Summer are now put to the test as the trek up the steep, grassy slopes of the mountains commence.There are many dangers here; cliffs, cougars, wolves, birds of prey, bad footing that could leave a horse lame and more, so stay with your herd! The weather is cooling now, and the humid days are gone.For a short while the warmth will stay, and then it's gone, replaced by chilling high winds.Foliage starts to go bad, and food will become scarce.

Breeding is NOT allowed in this season nor is foaling, fighting is allowed

These are the herds wintering grounds.After a long, trechorous trek up the mountains, the herds reach thier final destination.In the middle of the mountains, in a valley hidden far behind thier walls, the horses find refuge.This valley is a place of intense beauty and peace, with high canyon walls that block out the cold winter winds.The valley is lush, with a narrow, slow moving river that winds from one end to the other.The weather here is beautiful, for winter that is.There are no blizzards or harsh winds, only gentle snowfalls that leave the land as a canvas of white.
